Tonight, the Council may make an appointment to one vacancy on the Orange County Air Quality Advisory Committee.
On September 27, 2005, the Town Clerk received an email from the Clerk to the Orange County Board of Commissioners requesting that the Town of Chapel Hill appoint one Council member, two citizens at-large, and one energy industry representative. On October 24, 2005, the Council appointed all but one of the citizen at-large seats.
