A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ADVERTISE A REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES AND A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE CHAPEL HILL LIBRARY EXPANSION PROJECT (2006-02-13/R-5)

WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill authorized the establishment of the Library Building Committee on June 30, 2004; and

WHEREAS, the Library Building Committee has recommended that the Town proceed to hire an architectural and engineering firm and a construction management firm for the Library Expansion project;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Town Manager to seek letters of interest from architectural and engineering firms for project design and statements of qualifications from construction management firms for construction management services for the Library Expansion project.
