A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHAPEL HILL REPRESENTATIVES TO THE LONG RANGE TRANSIT PLAN TRANSIT STUDY COMMITTEE AND REQUESTING CARRBORO AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL APPOINT REPRESENTATIVES TO THE COMMITTEE (2006-09-11/R-15b)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has established a Transit Study Committee to select a consultant and oversee preparation of the Long Range Transit Plan; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill, Town of Carrboro and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill can appoint up to four (4) representatives to the Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that Mayor Kevin Foy, _____________, _____________ and _____________ are appointed to represent the Town on the Transit Study Committee.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council requests that the Town of Carrboro and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill each appoint up to four (4) representatives to serve on the Committee.
