The purpose of this report is for the Council to appoint a Council representative to the Joint Orange-Chatham County Action, Inc. (JOCCA) board. Mayor pro tem Bill Strom has been the representative on the JOCCA board since December 2005. Mayor pro tem Strom announced at the September 11 business meeting that the JOCCA meetings are in conflict with the UNC Leadership Advisory Committee meetings, and that another Council member fill this role.
That the Council adopt the attached resolution appointing a Council member to serve as the Chapel Hill representative to the Joint Orange-Chatham County Action, Inc. (JOCCA) board.
