The purpose of this report is for the Council to appoint a Council representative to the Orange County Economic Development Commission. On April 27, 2006 Keith Cook, chair of the Orange County Economic Development Commission, requested that the Council consider appointing a Council member in addition to its current Chapel Hill representative. Mayor pro tem Strom has expressed an interest in filling this position.
That the Council adopt the attached resolution appointing a Council member to serve on the Orange County Economic Development Commission.
