Subject:	Reporting Aggressive Motorists

At its meeting April 24, 2007 the Board discussed a program run by the Charlotte Department of Transportation wherein bicyclists can report incidents with aggressive motorists, and either the town or the police send a notice to the offending car's owner, as a way to inform them that (a) there are laws giving cyclists the right to the road and (b) that they were reported as having violated a cyclist's rights - or something to that effect.

The Board requests the Town Council consider running a program similar to this.
