The attached resolution would change the date for the continuation of the Public Hearing for the Public Art Contextual Plan from May 7, 2007 to June 20, 2007.
On April 11, 2007, the Council held a public hearing to solicit public input related to the draft Public Art Contextual Plan. At that time, the Council decided to continue the public hearing to May 7, 2007.
Town staff and the Public Arts Commission are working jointly to review the current draft Public Art Contextual Plan and develop a unified response for the Council’s consideration. We expect to complete our joint effort in May. The Public Arts Commission can review our work in early June at their regular meeting. If the Council agrees, we will then come back on June 20, 2007 with a joint recommendation.
That the Council adopt the attached resolution which would postpone the continuation of the Public Hearing on the Public Art Contextual Plan to June 20, 2007.
