The Stormwater Management Utility Advisory Board has been actively meeting for over two years and the Board members continue to provide feedback and support to the Town’s stormwater staff.  The first three-year term of six members of the Town’s Stormwater Management Utility Advisory Board expires on June 30, 2007. These members and their affiliations are shown below.

Margaret (Meg) Holton

Mr. Mitchell has submitted his resignation from the Board.  The remaining five members have applied for reappointment.  They are enthusiastic, committed, and dedicated to the Council’s mission of providing a comprehensive stormwater management program.  For these reasons and to maintain the Advisory Board’s continuity, we respectfully request that the Town Council reappoint Patricia Hughes, Milton Heath, and Suzanne Lea as the residential representatives; Alan Rimer as a business/commercial representative, and Meg Holton as the UNC representative, to the Stormwater Management Utility Advisory Board.

The Town has recently received several applications for the soon-to-be vacated business representative position.  The Stormwater Advisory Board would like to give these applicants the proper consideration.  The Board respectfully requests that the Town Council postpone the second business/commercial appointment; the Board will submit its recommendation to the Town Council for consideration in September.
