Purefoy Drive Development – Special Use Permit, Planned Development-Housing Application (File No. 9870-54-7219)

PURPOSE

 

Tonight, the Council continues the Public Hearing regarding a request from Habitat for Humanity for approval of a Special Use Permit, Planned Development-Housing to create 51 single-family lots on 19.3 acres on the north side of Purefoy Drive.  

 

The Public Hearing continuation has been scheduled to receive evidence in support of and in opposition to approval of the applications, as the Council determines the appropriate requirements to include as conditions of approval.  The purpose of this cover memorandum is to forward my recommendation to the Council.

 

MANAGER’S REVISED RECOMMENDATION

 

I have reviewed and discussed the key issues with Town staff. Based on the information in the record to date I believe, with the modification to the regulations as proposed by the applicant, the Council could make the findings required to approve an application for a Special Use Permit. Further evidence concerning this application may be submitted at tonight’s Public Hearing.
