A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE e-NC AUTHORITY GRANT AWARD (2008-06-09/R-11)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill submitted an application to the competitive Public, Education or Government (PEG) Access Channels and the Capital Expenditure Grant Program; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has been awarded a grant in the amount of $25,000 to fund the new video equipment that was requested;

WHEREAS, partnering with the Town of Chapel Hill on the grant application by assisting with the required matching funds is the Orange Water and Sewer Authority and the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council accepts the grant award in the amount of $25,000.
