A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY (2008-06-25/R-17)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has evaluated economic conditions and realizes the need for a stronger non-residential tax base; and

WHEREAS, the Council Committee on Economic Development has drafted a strategy to assist in guiding our future economic growth; and

WHEREAS, this strategy is based on adopted policies and plans of the Town, and with public input,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Economic Development Strategy, dated June 2, 2008, and amended to remove "Creative Class" from goal 2.b is hereby adopted.
