Title of Agenda Item: Process for Guiding Development of Carolina North
Background: The purpose of this memorandum is to transmit information from David Owens in response to questions raised by the Council at the joint work session with the University Trustee representatives held on September 25, 2008.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council adopt the attached resolution:
· Endorsing the development agreement approach
· Concurring with the June 2009 target date for having a process in place
· Setting the next joint work session for October 22, 2008.
