Background: The attached memorandum from the Council Committee on Affordable Housing includes background information on a proposal for the Council to consider endorsing an $85,000 payment-in-lieu of providing an affordable housing unit as a minor change to the existing affordable housing stipulation for the Marriott Residence Inn Development.
