| Background:
On November 9, 2009, the Council voted to schedule a special meeting for December 9, 2009, to hear presentations by applicants seeking to fill the vacancy on the Town Council. The Council also voted to schedule a special meeting for December 14, 2009, at which time the Council will consider making an appointment. Both meetings were set for 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Town Code of Ordinances requires that this matter be scheduled for consideration at this evening's business meeting. If no action is taken tonight the matter would again be deferred. |
