SUBJECT: Appointments to Intergovernmental Parks Work Group

The attached resolution would appoint one Council Member and one alternate to the Intergovernmental Parks Work Group. Council Members Kevin Foy and Bill Strom have expressed interest in serving on this Work Group.
The Council adopted a resolution on August 28, 2000, agreeing to the Orange County Board of Commissioners’ proposal to establish an Intergovernmental Parks Work Group (attached).

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL PARKS WORK GROUP (2000-10-11/R-9)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council hereby appoints _______________________________________ to the Intergovernmental Parks Work Group, and _________________________________________ as an alternate to the Work Group.
