Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness

The Orange County Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness includes Orange County and the Towns of Carrboro,      Chapel Hill, and Hillsborough, North Carolina.  The Partnership to End Homelessness is a collaborative effort, led by an     Executive Team, to realize the goals of the plan through implementation of identified strategies.

 

Vision: Through the combined efforts of elected officials, service providers, business leaders, government agencies, and the citizens of Orange County, chronic homelessness in Orange County will end within 10 years.  Current and future efforts to serve the needs of all homeless individuals and homeless families will continue to be supported toward the goal of pursuing permanent housing.

 

Goals of the Orange County Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness:

   Goal 1:  Reduce Chronic Homelessness

   Goal 2:  Increase Employment

   Goal 3:  Prevent Homelessness

   Goal 4:  Increase Access to Services

   Goal 5:  Increase Public Participation in Ending Homelessness
