Temporary Residents

 

Library Card

Any person living in the Town or County temporarily may obtain a library card without charge. Proof of identity and a local mailing address are required at time of application. Examples of acceptable IDs are:

  • driver's license
  • social security card
  • passport
  • student ID
  • other government issued ID

A temporary borrower's card has an expiration date of 30 days from the date of application; however, extensions may be granted upon request.

Check-out
Maximum of 1 items.
Books on cassette
Maximum of 1 item.
Pamphlets
Unlimited.
Check-out period
3 weeks. Items will not be checked out or renewed beyond the expiration date of a temporary borrower's card.
Renewals
One renewal if items are not on reserve. Items may be renewed by phone during regular library hours.
Reserves
Maximum of 3 items.

Overdue Materials

Borrowing privileges are suspended and patrons are billed immediately after items are three days overdue.
