Studio A Dancers - Earth Day Ballet

Studio A Dancers

The Studio A Dancers, directed by Melody Eggen, has been presenting dance theatre in Chapel Hill for twenty years. The current company of dancers ages 8-18 represents Orange, Durham and Chatham counties. The Studio A Dancers will perform their very own Earth Day Ballet, a reflection on mankind's impact on the planet.

Based in Chapel Hill, NC, Equinox has performed together for over ten years. Equinox is a six-piece band (vocals, guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, and saxophone) producing an exciting blend of jazz and blues. Equinox has been a featured performer at Weaver Street Market, Hillsborough Jazz Festival and many UNC functions

Award Winning - Kickin Grass Band

Kickin Grass

Contemporary Carolina Bluegrass with traditional roots

The Kickin Grass Band , have set themselves a cut above the rest with their tight vocal harmony, driving instrumentation and effusive energy on and off the stage. WKXU's Buddy Michaels calls this fast-rising bluegrass band “wonderful, original, and full of spunk” and raves, “You will love Kickin Grass!” Dave Higgs from Bluegrass Now magazine calls their traditional arrangements “killer” and “creatively arranged” and adds, “the original tunes are just stellar.” Their live shows feature an energy and stage presence that belies their young age.

The band prides itself on reaching all types of audiences, incorporating standards, rock & country classics and a number of "can't get 'em out of yer head" originals into their entertaining sets.
