The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership and the Town of Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department have partnered to present this Locally Grown Entertainment Series on the fourth Friday of the month this summer in Downtown Chapel Hill.
Locally Grown is a series of special events featuring local entertainers and family friendly activities in Downtown Chapel Hill this summer. Our mission is to promote the downtown community by encouraging people and families to come downtown and shop, eat and be local patrons for businesses throughout the downtown district.
Arts & Crafts Open Air Market Application
6pm – 8pm Live performances along West Franklin Street to entertain people. The acts vary in professionalism and range from traveling buskers to locals who entertain at Sunset
7pm – 10:30pm Open Air Market, Children’s Activities and Live Concert by local artists on our very own Wallace Plaza atop the James C. Wallace Parking Deck at 150 East Rosemary Street, an urban municipal park in Downtown Chapel Hill.
The event concept also provides opportunities for downtown businesses to host an activity, sale, art showing, food tasting and more!
