This seasonal outdoor facility is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The 25 meter pool offers zero-depth entry and 4 lap lanes. Locker rooms
(please bring your own lock), showers and family changing area are available.

Homestead Aquatic Center – Under Construction

Ground breaking for the future Homestead Aquatic Center took place on January
22, 2007 and we hope to have the project completed in early to mid 2008.
The Homestead Aquatic Center will include two tanks, locker rooms, and a small
meeting room. The main tank will be a 25 meter X 25 yard lap pool. The second
will be a 25 meter X 10 yard tank that will include a zero depth entry

Pool Rules and Information
- The indoor and outdoor pools are here for the enjoyment of all patrons. Please help to keep
them clean and safe by following the below rules and guidelines!!
- Lifeguard commands are to be obeyed without hesitation; failure to obey lifeguards will result
in ejection from the facility. Pool rules are posted and will be enforced by all lifeguard staff.
- All pool patrons must shower before entering the swimming pool for pool cleanliness.
- In the event of an electrical storm, all swimmers must exit the pool. A period of 15 minutes
must be observed without any further occurrences of lightning or thunder before swimmers may
re-enter the water. Please do not use showers during electrical storms.
- Youth 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children under six years
old or less than 48 inches tall must be accompanied in the water (within arms reach) by a
responsible adult guardian. Children 6 years of age or older must use the appropriate locker room
or use the family changing area on the pool deck. All age requirements are strictly adhered to.
- The Chapel Hill Community Center has accessible bathrooms, aqua wheelchair, special shower
bench, private, changing mat table, and ramp leading into the swimming pool.
- Lockers are available for use but swimmers must bring their own locks. Patrons are encouraged
not to bring items of high value into the pool facilities.
- Lap lanes are available during scheduled lap swim. Lifeguards will ask individuals not to swim
during lap swim if, in their opinion, those individuals are not following proper lap swim procedure
or appear to be unsafe in the water.
