Chris Berndt Long
Range Planning Coordinator |
Chris
S. Berndt manages the long-range division of the Planning Department,
including housing and community development, transportation planning,
comprehensive planning, annexation, and the Capital Improvement Program. Ms. Berndt has a Master’s Degree in Planning
from UNC-CH (1977) and a Bachelor’s Degree from Beloit College, Beloit, WI
(1972). |

Loryn Barnes administers
the Town's Community Development Block Grant and other federally and locally
funded community development projects, and works closely with local
organizations that provide affordable housing and other services to Chapel
Hill residents. Ms. Barnes has a
Bachelor of City Planning from the University of Virginia (1992), and a
Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina -
Chapel Hill (1994). |

Jamie Rohe Community

Jamie Rohe monitors the
agencies that receive Community Development Block Grant funds from the
Town. This involves an assessment of the programs and projects being
funded as well as each organization’s financial and administrative
management. She also provides technical assistance to organizations and
environmental reviews for projects as necessary. |
