Summer 2005: The Town is entering into development agreement negotiations with the selected developer, Ram Development Co.

Recently...

  • The Council on June 15, 2005 selected Ram Development Co. as the preferred developer; the Council met in the Council Chamber with the development team on June 20 and June 29 to discuss design issues.
  • The Town issued a developer Request for Qualifications. The deadline for submittals was January 31, 2005. Six firms responded; five were invited to respond to the Request for Proposals.
  • On Monday, June 14, 2004, the Town adopted conceptual master plan options, and approved proceeding to the financial analysis phase.
  • May 24th and 26th, 2004 Council Committee on Lots 2 and 5 Meeting: The Council Committee reviewed the draft concepts with HKS, Inc., and John Stainback. View Revised concepts for Lots 2 and 5 and Wallace parking deck.  Posted 5/24/04

  • Monday, May 24, 2004: 7 p.m. Council Meeting - Public Forum on Conceptual Master Plans for Lots 2 and 5

  • May 10, 2004 Council Committee on Lots 2 and 5 Meeting. The Committee will reviewed early drafts of conceptual master plans with HKS Architects. Agenda / Draft Preliminary Master Plan Concepts (5/10/04); HKS PowerPoint - concepts only (20 meg file) (5/10/04)

  • April 14, 2004: Council Meeting. The Council decided to proceed with the development of conceptual master plans for Lots 2 and 5. The Council also adopted a preliminary land, building and infrastructure program for the master plan stage.

  • Economics Research Associates (ERA) completed work on the Market Analysis Report. Click here to download copies of the final draft.

  • March 22, 2004: Public Forum on Market Demand Study. The Council held a public forum on the Market Analysis Report by ERA.
