A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR THE END OF THE WAR IN IRAQ AND BRINGING OUR TROOPS HOME (2005-10-24/R-0.2)

WHEREAS, because our national leaders pursue an illegal war of aggression against Iraq built on lies and exploitation of Americans fears; and

WHEREAS, this war has caused the death of over 1900 U.S. Soldiers and tens of thousands Iraqis.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Town of Chapel Hill that the Council calls for the ending of the war and bringing our troops home.
