SUBJECT:      Concept Plan:  Greenbridge – Mixed Use Development

DATE:            February 20, 2006

Tonight, the Council considers a Concept Plan for Greenbridge Mixed Use development, proposed on West Rosemary Street between North Merritt Mill Road and North Graham Street.  

The applicant is proposing to construct a nine-story, 184,000 square-foot office/residential/retail building and demolition of several commercial and residential structures on a 1.32-acre site. The development includes an underground parking deck for 195 vehicles. In accordance with the Land Use Management Ordinance, there has been no staff review of this Concept Plan.

We recommend that the Council review this Concept Plan, receive comments from the Community Design Commission and citizens, and adopt a resolution transmitting comments to the applicant.
