SUBJECT:       Membership recommendations

BACKGROUND

The Technology Committee held a regularly scheduled meeting on March 21, 2006. Nine members were in attendance: Ralph Beisner, Aris Buinevicius, Evelyn Daniel, Gregg Gerdau (Chair), Steve Irving, Uzoma Nwosu, Allan Polak, Will Raymond, and Brian Russell.

The Committee reviewed membership status and noted that two members had resigned leaving open positions. Gregg Gerdau noted that the Town Clerk has several applications for the committee but only one of the applicants, Walker Rutherfurd, has attended a committee meeting.

The Committee voted to recommend the nomination of Walker Rutherfurd and to request other applicants attend a future meeting so that a recommendation can be made for the remaining position.

RECOMMENDATION

The Technology Committee recommends the following:

1. Approval of membership for Walker Rutherfurd

2. Allowing the Committee additional time to meet the other applicants
