SUBJECT:      Concept Plan:  University of North Carolina – Park/Ride Terminal at the Chapel Hill Bible Church

DATE:            April 19, 2006

Tonight, the Council considers a Concept Plan from the University of North Carolina for a Park/ Ride Terminal at Chapel Hill Bible Church.  The site is located on Sage Road between Old Sterling Road and Erwin Road.  The applicant is proposing a facility to accommodate 241 vehicles. No site changes are proposed. In accordance with the Land Use Management Ordinance, there has been no staff review of this Concept Plan.

We recommend that the Council review this Concept Plan, receive comments from the Community Design Commission and citizens, and adopt a resolution transmitting comments to the applicant.
