RESOLUTION C

A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE PLANNING BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION DISTRICTS (2006-06-26/R-24c)

WHEREAS, the Land Use Management Ordinances states that the Planning Board shall develop Neighborhood Conservation Districts; and

WHEREAS, after successfully developing four Neighborhood Conservation Districts the Planning Board has experience in elements of the process that are useful and elements that could be added to make the process work better; and

WHEREAS, on June 12, 2006, the Chair of the Planning Board presented a petition from the Board outlining the Planning Board’s recommendations for the development of future Neighborhood Conservation Districts;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council endorses the attached Planning Board Recommendations for the Development of Future Neighborhood Conservation Districts; recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
