A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL ENERGY BANK POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL (2006-06-26/R-15)

WHEREAS, on November 4, 2003, the citizens of the Town of Chapel Hill voted in favor of a $500,000 bond referendum for creation of an Energy Bank; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill is committed to cost savings measures to reduce the energy consumption of its facilities; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill is committed to reducing carbon emissions attributable to Town operations; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill is committed to the regional effort to improve air quality;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council adopts the attached Town of Chapel Hill Energy Bank Polices and Procedures Manual to become effective immediately.
