SUBJECT:      Ordinance Establishing the Town’s Position Classification and Pay Plan Effective July 1, 2006

DATE:            June 26, 2006

PURPOSE

Enactment of the attached Ordinance would establish the Town’s Position Classification and Pay Plan effective July 1, 2006. Four positions for Transit Operator II would be authorized effective July 1, 2006 as proposed in the Manager’s recommended budget and discussed by the Council. These positions are necessary to support expected Transportation operations levels.

RECOMMENDATION

That the Council enact the attached amendment to the Ordinance.
