A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SEEK PROPOSALS FOR FINANCING OF $1

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SEEK PROPOSALS FOR FINANCING OF $1.35 MIILION over a 10-year period FOR Southern Community Park and/OR the Aquatics Center (2006-09-11/R-4)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has developed a plan for financing a portion of Southern Community Park and a portion of the Aquatics Center; and

WHEREAS, funds were budgeted as a part of the 2006-07 adopted budget for this purpose;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Town Manager to seek proposals from financial institutions for the financing over 10 years of $1.35 million for Southern Community Park and/or for the Aquatics Center.
