SUBJECT:      Concept Plan:  Chapel Hill Country Club

DATE:            September 18, 2006

Tonight, the Council considers a Concept Plan from the Chapel Hill Country Club for renovations and construction. The site is located on the corner of Lancaster Drive and New Castle Drive. The applicant is proposing: an outdoor pavilion, an addition to the clubhouse, two additions to the bathhouse and parking lot renovations to the 155.54-acre site. In accordance with the Land Use Management Ordinance, there has been no staff review of this Concept Plan.

We recommend that the Council review this Concept Plan, receive comments from the Community Design Commission and citizens, and adopt a resolution transmitting comments to the applicant.
