ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING NO PARKING ANYTIME EXCEPT BY RESIDENTIAL PERMIT (2006-10-23/O-2)

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill as follows:

Section 1.  Section 21-27.9 (c) of the Town Code of Ordinances, “No parking anytime except by residential permit” 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday-Friday is hereby amended by deleting the following:

“Street	Side	From	To
McCauley Street	South	A point 300 feet of West of the centerline of Pittsboro Street	A point 294 feet of east of the center line of Ransom Street
McCauley Street	South	The centerline of Ransom Street	A point 224 feet of east of the center line of Ransom Street”

Section 2.  Section 21-27.9 (d) of the Town Code of Ordinances, “No parking anytime except by residential permit” 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday is hereby amended by deleting the following:

“Street	Side	From	To
West University	North	Ransom Street	Westwood Drive”

Section 3.  Section 21-27.9 (g) of the Town Code of Ordinances, “No parking anytime except by residential permit” 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday-Friday is hereby amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:

“Street	Side	From	To
McCauley Street	South	A point 300 feet of West of the centerline of Pittsboro Street	A point 294 feet of east of the center line of Ransom Street
McCauley Street	South	The centerline of Ransom Street	A point 224 feet of east of the center line of Ransom Street
West University	North	Ransom Street	Westwood Drive”

Section 4.  This Ordinance shall become effective November 6, 2006.
