RESOLUTION A

A RESOLUTION ENDORSING TOWN MANAGER DETERMINATION OF A MINOR CHANGE TO THE CEDARS OF CHAPEL HILL SPECIAL USE PERMIT, SUBSTITUTING ALTERNATIVE DWELLING UNIT LANGUAGE FOR THE EXISTING DWELLING UNIT STIPULATION (2007-01-22/R-8a)

WHEREAS, the Town Council has approved a Special Use Permit for the Cedars of Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill; and

WHEREAS, the approval included limitations on the number of dwelling units; and

WHEREAS, the Cedars of Chapel Hill has requested permission to increase the number of approved dwelling units; and

WHEREAS, the Town Manager has determined that the increase in number of dwelling units would be reasonable and desirable and in accordance with Section 18.5 of the Development Ordinance in place at the time of the Special Use Permit approval;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council concurs with the Town Manager opinion that the proposed change to increase the number of dwelling units from 300 to 307 is a minor change to the Special Use Permit.
