A RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND REFERRING THE DRAFT NC 86/MLK JR. BOULEVARD CORRIDOR/TOWN-WIDE PEDESTRIAN SAFETY EVALUATION DRAFT STUDY TO THE TOWN MANAGER AND ATTORNEY AND ADVISORY BOARDS FOR REVIEW AND SETTING A PUBLIC FORUM TO RECEIVE CITIZEN COMMENT (2007-02-26/R-6)

WHEREAS, the Town has received a draft NC 86/MLK Jr. Boulevard Corridor/Town-wide Pedestrian Safety Evaluation Draft Study;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council refers the Draft Plan to the Town Manager and Attorney for review and comment.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council refers the draft Plan to Town Advisory Boards and Committees including the Parks & Recreation Commission, Active Living by Design Advisory Committee, Greenways Commission, Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, Planning Board, and Transportation Board for review and comment.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council schedules a Public Forum for April 11, 2007, in the Council Chamber, 405 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Chapel Hill, to receive public comment on the draft Study.
