A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO PREPARE AN OPTION IN THE 2007-08 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM BUDGET FOR DESIGN FEES FOR THE PROPOSED LITTLE CREEK PARK (2007-02-26/R-7)

WHEREAS, the Council has received a petition from the Mayor requesting that the Town and the Parks and Recreation Commission explore the possibility of building a park along Little Creek; and

WHEREAS, development of a park in this location would require extensive regulatory investigations, public involvement and site analysis;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Town Manager is authorized to prepare an option for design funds that would be included as an option in the CIP for FY 2007-08.
