The attached resolution would authorize the sale of a surplus refuse truck.
The Public Works Department, Solid Waste Services Division, has identified a 1999 International 4700 Knuckle Boom truck as property that is no longer needed and no longer useful to the Town.
Subject to Council authorization, an on-line public auction for the sale of a surplus garbage truck is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, through Monday, March 19 2007, at www.GovDeals.com.
We recommend that the Council adopt the attached resolution declaring the 1999 International 4700 Knuckle Boom truck as surplus, as it is no longer needed and no longer useful to the Town; and authorizing its sale in an online auction.
