A  RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A HISTORIC PRESERVATION AGREEMENT ON THE OLD CHAPEL HILL PUBLIC LIBRARY (2007-03-05/R-6)

WHEREAS the Town Council recognizes the Chapel Hill Museum/Old Chapel Hill Library building, designed by architect Don Stewart, as a local landmark of mid-century modern design;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Town Manager to execute a preservation agreement for the Old Chapel Hill Public Library Building at the corner of Franklin and Boundary Streets substantially in the form as attached to the Manager’s report to the Town Council dated March 5, 2007.
