SUBJECT:	Concept Plan:  Gateway Bank and Trust at Meadowmont
DATE:	March 19, 2007

PURPOSE

Tonight, the Council considers a Concept Plan for the Gateway Bank and Trust at Meadowmont. The proposed project is located on the southwest corner of Barbee Chapel Road and Hwy. 54, adjacent to the Finley Forest neighborhood on the south and the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel on the west.  

We recommend that the Council adopt the attached resolution transmitting comments to the applicant.

The attached memorandum for the Concept Plan proposal includes background information on the Concept Plan process, the applicant’s materials, and additional related information. For your reference, a copy of the applicant’s Concept Plan proposal application is copied on the back of this cover memorandum.
