SUBJECT:	Recommendation to Sponsor a Summer Concert Series
DATE:	March 21, 2007

The Commission voted unanimously (9-0) to recommend that the Parks and Recreation staff begin work on a Summer Concert Series for the summer of 2007.  The Commission believes that such a series would be a good program to replace the prior spring street fair. The Commission believes that any such program would require an adequate marketing effort.

In addition, the Commission recommends that at the end of the concert series the Town evaluate the series to determine whether to continue the program in future years or consider other ideas.
