A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RECOMMENDATIONS FROM TOWN ADVISORY BOARDS ON THE CHAPEL HILL TRANSPORTATION PROJECT PRIORITY LIST (2007-04-11/R-9)

WHEREAS, the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Transportation Advisory Committee has begun the process for developing the 2009-2015 Transportation Improvement Program; and

WHEREAS, the Transportation Advisory Committee has requested local jurisdictions prepare transportation project priority lists;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council requests the Planning Board, Transportation Board, and Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board review the 2007-2013 Transportation Priority List and provide recommendations on projects to be included in the Chapel Hill 2009-2015 Transportation Priority List.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council sets a public forum on the Chapel Hill Priority List for May 7, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers.
