ATTACHMENT #1
Date: April 18, 2007
Council/Management Goal: |
Provide service effectively and efficiently |
||
Method/Tool for achieving goal: |
Hire and allocate staff resources necessary to perform traffic engineering work effectively and efficiently. |
||
Resource Requested: Delete Traffic Program Supervisor Position effective July 1, 2007 and replace with two full time regular positions (Traffic Signal Technician and Administrative Technician). This will allow us to complete traffic related projects effectively and quickly. To offset the cost of both proposed positions, we recommended reallocation of the budgeted Traffic Program Supervisor salary supplemented as necessary with additional revenue from Work Zone Traffic Control Permits and Traffic Signal Reimbursements from Carrboro.
