The Commission voted unanimously (7-0) to recommend that the Council adopt the NC 86 Pedestrian Mobility Study.
The Commission recommended that the highest priority for implementation of the plan should be improvements to the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Umstead Drive.
Commission members voting were: Glenn Parks (Chair), Bill Bracey (Vice Chair), Mary Blake, Jim Earnhardt, Gary Galloway, Mary Ann Freedman, and Reed Huegerich
