WHEREAS, the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Transportation Advisory Committee has begun the process for developing the 2009-2015 Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Advisory Committee has requested local jurisdictions prepare transportation project priority lists; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has prepared a Transportation Project Priority List for the 2009-2015 Transportation Improvement Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council approves the Chapel Hill 2009-2015 Transportation Priority List as provided below.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council forwards the Priority List on to the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Transportation Advisory Committee for use in the development of the 2009-2015 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council forwards this list on to the Durham City Council and Durham County Commissioners, and request that they list the following projects, which support connections between the communities:
