(Rezone University Station Property)

 

A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER REZONING THE AREA KNOWN AS UNIVERSITY STATION (2007-03-26/R-9b)

 

WHEREAS, the property between I-40 and Weaver Dairy Road is identified as Orange County Parcel Identifier Number (PIN) 9880-56-2680 and known as University Station; and

 

WHEREAS the Council considers that multi-family residential development in this location adjacent to the Interstate may be inappropriate owing to noise and air quality impact;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council calls a Public Hearing for May 7, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, to consider a Zoning Atlas Amendment for the rezoning of the property identified above.
