A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT THAT WOULD DEDICATE TO OWASA A SEWER EASEMENT ADJACENT TO MORGAN CREEK ON LAND OWNED BY THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL (2007-06-11/R-4)

WHEREAS, OWASA desires to replace an existing 18 inch sewer line along Morgan Creek with a new 30 inch line; and

WHEREAS, OWASA has worked with Town staff to identify a gravity sewer alignment that would have minimal impact on Town property;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Town Manager is authorized to execute an easement agreement that would grant to OWASA a sewer easement as described in the attached proposal from OWASA dated May 24, 2007.
