A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF TRIANGLE UNITED WAY GRANT FOR PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT (2007-06-11/R-5)

WHEREAS, the Triangle United Way has made funds available for implementing Project Homeless Connect; and

WHEREAS, the Triangle United Way has awarded the Town $3,500 to sponsor a Project Homeless Connect event; and

WHEREAS, the grant funds would be used for expenses related to Project Homeless Connect to be held on October 25, 2007; 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill authorizes the Manager to accept the Triangle United Way Project Homeless Connect grant and to execute all documents related to this grant.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2006-07 Town Budget will be adjusted to reflect the funding from this grant.
