A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER REZONING THE COKER HILLS NEIGHBORHOOD (2007-06-11 /R-7)

WHEREAS, the Coker Hills Consensus Committee developed a proposal for a Neighborhood Conservation District rezoning for the Coker Hills neighborhood; and

WHEREAS, a poll of the Coker Hills neighborhood has determined that there is significant neighborhood support for a Neighborhood Conservation District in the Coker Hills neighborhood as proposed by the Consensus Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill calls a Public Hearing for September 17, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, to consider a Zoning Atlas Amendment for the rezoning of the Coker Hills neighborhood, as shown on a map labeled as Attachment 4 to this memorandum to establish a Neighborhood Conservation District.
