SUBJECT:	Concept Plan: Chapel Hill Public Library Expansion

PURPOSE

Tonight, the Council considers a Concept Plan for the Chapel Hill Public Library, proposed at 100 Library Drive near the intersection of East Franklin Street and Estes Drive.

The attached memorandum for the Concept Plan proposal includes background information on the Concept Plan process, the applicant’s materials, and additional related information. For your reference, a copy of the applicant’s Concept Plan proposal application form is copied on the back of this cover memorandum.

We recommend that the Council consider the conceptual plan and adopt a resolution transmitting comments to the applicant.
