RESOLUTION A

 

A RESOLUTION ENDORSING TOWN MANAGER DETERMINATION OF A MINOR CHANGE TO THE RESIDENCES AT CHAPEL HILL NORTH SPECIAL USE PERMIT MODIFICATION, CLARIFYING THE AFFORDABLE PROVISIONS TO INCLUDE THE RATIO OF ONE-BEDROOM AND TWO-BEDROOM UNITS (2007-06-27/R-19a)

 

WHEREAS, the Town Council approved a Special Use Permit Modification for the Residences at Chapel Hill North in Chapel Hill on April 11, 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, the approval included provisions for affordable housing; and

 

WHEREAS, Radway Design Associates has requested permission to include clarifications regarding the required ratio of one-bedroom and two-bedroom affordable dwelling units in the approved Special Use Permit Modification; and

 

WHEREAS, the Town Manager has determined that including clarifications regarding the required ratio of one-bedroom and two-bedroom affordable dwelling units would be reasonable and desirable and in accordance with Section 4.5.4 of the Land Use Management Ordinance;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council concurs with the Town Manager opinion that the proposed change include clarifications regarding the required ratio of one-bedroom and two-bedroom affordable dwelling units is a minor change to the Special Use Permit Modification.
