A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL’S PARTICIPATION IN THE TRIANGE J’S INITITATIVE, “PARTNERSHIP FOR DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE” (2007-09-10/R-12)

WHEREAS, on July 27, 2007, Triangle J Council of Governments sent the Town of Chapel Hill an invitation to participate in the Triangle J’s “Partnership for Development and Infrastructure; and

WHEREAS, the Partnership will bring together community and regional partners to work on long-term regional strategies regarding the development and conservation of land, providing infrastructure to support development, and improving mobility; and

WHEREAS, the Partnership will be an opportunity to draw on the experience, knowledge and creativity of the partners to develop and guide responses to the Triangle’s development and infrastructure challenges; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Town Manager to execute the agreement for the Town’s participation in the Triangle J’s “Partnership of Development and Infrastructure”.
